Dr. Bikramjit Rishi holds Post Doctorate (Funded by European Union) Ph.D. and MBA and currently Professor at School of Management and Entrepreneurship (SME), Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida. During his previous stint at IMT Ghaziabad, he was the program chair PGDM (Part Time) from 2014 -2018 and PGDM Executive (2018 -19). His major focus in research is both quantitative and qualitative methods. Apart from teaching, research, and training, he has also served in editorial advisory positions, conference advisory committees and made a significant contribution to the success and growth of marketing discipline. He has 35 referred research papers, nine book chapters, 7 cases, 40 conference papers, and three books, including one edited book on Social Media Marketing (Routledge) and one textbook on Social Media Marketing (Sage). His research work has been published in Australasian Marketing Journal (AMJ), Journal of Brand Management (JBM), International Journal of Business Innovation and Research(IJBIR), International Journal of Technology Marketing (IJTM), Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies(EEMCS), International Journal of Sustainable Design (IJSD), ASEAN Journal on Hospitality & Tourism to name a few. He has presented research papers in several reputed national/international conferences in India and abroad and also has chaired sessions in national and international conferences. He has also given keynote addresses in many national conferences in India. He has delivered guest talks/ invited presentations in several Top Business Schools in India and abroad. Due to his significant contribution, he has been conferred by Emerging Marketing Scholar (Academy of Marketing Science), 2011. He was Faculty Fellow, at 3rd AMA (American Marketing Association) Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium, IMT Dubai (UAE), January 18 – 20, 2015. He was also the Faculty Fellow at 4th AMA (American Marketing Association) Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium, IMT Ghaziabad, January 07-09, 2016. He was the Conference Co-Chair for the 2014 International Conference on Technology and Business Management (ICTBM) Organized by AIMS international and held at American University in the Emirates, Dubai, on March 24 -26, 2014. He was also the Organizer of the 2015 Annual Conference of the Emerging Markets Conference Board, January 20 -22, 2015, IMT Dubai. He was also the faculty fellow at 7th AMA (American Marketing Association) Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium at MICA, Ahmedabad held on January 4-6, 2019.
He has directed many learning and development program for executives. The programs were designed for Hindustan Coca- Cola Beverages Private Limited (HCCBPL), Apollo Tyres Limited, APL Apollo Tubes Limited, Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), RITES Limited, Defence Research and Development organization (DRDO) and Jubilant Food Works Limited. The various topics which has been addressed in these programs include Marketing Leadership, Strategic Customer Management, Building Customer Orientation Organization, Effective Selling Skills, Customer Service Skills, Understanding Customer Journey, Customer Experience Management and Sales Leadership.
